Locationmanager Ukrainians

For a township (in Dutch ''gemeente'') we are looking for multiple locationmanagers as soon as possible for 32-36 hours. As a locationmanager you are responsible for one or more locations that houses refugees from Ukraine. You have a gift to immediately put the residents at ease. That is why you ensure that the reception and the stay feels safe for the residents. You can switch between all the different levels, so you pour coffee but also have a conversation with the mayor.

Your challenges:

• You are responsible for the location(s)
• Ensure that the day-to-day business runs smoothly
• Coordinate and guide the volunteers (who speak Dutch/English)
• Keep overview within the locations
• Function as first point of contact for volunteers, 3rd parties and such as
• Signaling particularities and immediately take action
• Ensure a hygienic, safe environment and good working conditions within the locations

For the Township you are the connecting factor. You will work together with the police, fire bridage, refugee organizations, doctors, security, the supermarket and catering.

It's import that you can take sufficient distance from the problems and at the same time you are empathetic and a good listener but you remain professional.

For everyone in the location, you are the person who quickly solves practical matters and bottlenecks. You have a clear overview, natural preponderance and you are decisive. You function well under stress and working together is your second nature. 

• Higher professional education, work- and thinking level
• Experience in organizing and coordinating
• Available 32-36 hours a week including weekends and evenings
• You have been living the Netherlands for several years so you have knowledge of the Dutch state of affairs
• Know as a problem solver
• Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian
• Candidates who also speak Dutch are preferred
